BFL Football DIVISIONS OF PLAY:
Flag Division:
This division will be for 5, 6, and 7 year olds (Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Graders). At this level there are no league standings because there are no records of wins or losses. We just want the little ones to learn about the game and have fun. In the summer they will practice 2 days per week and once the season starts they will practice for 1 day per week and have their games at Harry Alley on Saturdays at 12:00 PM.

Pee Wee Division:
This division will be for 8 and 9 year olds, (3rd and 4th graders). Offense has a playbook and can only run a handful of plays and everyone will be running the same defense. This allows continuity for the kids so they can work on their skills not figuring out who to block and what formation the offense will be using. Practice in the summer will run from Monday thru Thursday and once school starts they will practice 2 days per week with games Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM.

This level also has a limited playbook at beginning of season and then after midpoint we allow them to introduce different formations. The defense is also a 5-2 and no blitzing is allowed. This also allows continuity for the kids so they can work on their skills. Practice in the summer will run from Monday thru Thursday and once school starts they will practice 2 days per week with games Saturday afternoons at 12:00 PM.
